Thanksgiving edition (11/28/19 newsletter)

Dear Concussion Allies,

We started our Weekly Concussion Update Newsletter in April 2019 as part of our mission to provide current and reliable concussion information in a way that is easily accessible to everyone. Our interns have dedicated more than 650 hours of research, writing, and editing, to provide you with a variety of important news and research on concussions each week.

This week, for the first time ever, we are not publishing our regular update letter. Instead, we’d like to take this opportunity to express appreciation for our supporters.

We would not be where we are today without you, our subscribers. Your engagement, feedback, and donations have all helped us to continue this important work. As our organization continues to grow, we continue to need your support.

This winter we are expanding our internship program so we can continue publishing our weekly newsletter, while further developing our other resources and educating the next generation of researchers and healthcare professionals. Our interns are essential to the work we do, and your gift will allow us to amplify the impact of their efforts.

You can give to our Facebook Fundraiser via the button below, or learn more about other ways to donate on our Ways to Give page. Please consider sharing this fundraiser to help spread the word.

Feedback about the Weekly Concussion Update

"Very impressive. Excellent sections and content. I think people will really appreciate this newsletter.”

- Dr. Ron Savage, Founding Chairman of the International Pediatric Brain Injury Society, and member of the Board of Governors for the International Brain Injury Association.

"The research and news are better presented and more interesting than any of the regular updates I get from associations and vendors related to my work. And those people are getting paid to do their work!

"Maybe that’s the difference between doing something for money vs. because you feel it is important."

- John Vrijmoet, Vice President at a national insurance carrier.
