MPHc intern practicum with Concussion Alliance

I'm Melissa, and I'm currently a Master of Public Health Candidate at Tulane University.

I am excited to partner with the Concussion Alliance this fall to enhance my learning and knowledge on concussions and traumatic brain injuries. As an athlete all of my life and into adulthood, I've seen firsthand how traumatic brain injuries can affect a person and their life.

My goals this semester with the Concussion Alliance are to help increase awareness and advocacy and ultimately influence policy around concussions and TBI.

In my downtime, I enjoy playing and watching hockey, running a marathon or two a year, and traveling with my husband and my 75lb puppy that sounds like a chihuahua when it barks.
