Nox Zand
Nox Zand is a systems navigator/case manager in the integrated care department at Vail Place. Nox is passionate about increasing accessibility to mental health care for those with both severe and persistent mental illnesses and chronic physical health conditions, including concussions. Nox is a volunteer and part of the virtual transition team at Walk-In Counseling Center, a free drop-in mental health clinic.
Nox obtained their B.S. in Psychology and an Integrated Neuroscience minor from the University of Minnesota with a research focus on PTSD. Their research experience covers military sexual trauma. moral injury in veterans, and the impact of identity and perceived trauma validity on recovery from PTSD. Nox's research is available for public viewing through the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program.
