My name is Savannah Hunt, and I’m a senior at Tilden Preparatory School in Walnut Creek, CA. In my junior year, I attended a program called Maine Coast Semester at Chewonki, where I lived, learned, and worked on a farm in Wiscasset, ME. After graduating this Spring, I’ll begin studying neuroscience this fall on the East Coast. In the last few years, I’ve moved from being a concussion patient to a concussion advocate, giving lectures to local high schools and sports teams, working with Concussion Alliance, and even building my own website to share my experience recovering from Post Concussion Syndrome. My interests include science (from neuro to environmental and physics), spending time outside hiking and camping, and expressing myself creatively through drawing, painting, and sculpting.
