Trevor Hughes
Summer 2020 Intern
Carleton College ‘21
Trevor is a junior cognitive science major from Chicago, IL, following a pre-medicine track at Carleton College, where he also conducts immunology research and serves as a resident assistant. In his free time, Trevor enjoys running, hiking, speaking French, and chatting about the latest Survivor episode with friends. As an aspiring doctor, he hopes to engage with public-health related projects that focus on demedicalizing medicine among patients from all types of backgrounds. He is excited to pursue this passion at Concussion Alliance where he will focus on increasing accessibility to Concussion research and treatment opportunities for all those affected.
During his internship, Trevor will use his background in scientific research to write pieces that help break down the latest advancements in concussion research and treatment for a general audience. In addition, he will also be attempting to conduct a statistics-based analysis of concussion prevalence to identify factors that help explain the widespread number of concussions among certain regions.
